Interaction programme
in association with Tribebi Youth Club
An Interaction programme was held on 22nd June 2002 (8 Asad 2059)
in association with Tribebi Youth Club at Bhadrabas VDC in Kathmandu
on the request made by the patron of the club Mr. Achutananda Bhandari.
The VDC is located at the North East of Kathmandu City. Before initiating
the in-depth interaction session a presentation was delivered by President
of the Zero Waste Nepal Mr. Badan Lal Nyachhyon accompanied by Mr.
Kiran Raj Mishra on the Zero Waste Concept. Almost 35 participants
including women, businessman, teacher and social worker had taken
participation in the programme. During the interaction session several
questions were raised and discussed on the waste issues.
A resolution was passed as although, there was no such issue which
as to create a severe problem right now in the VDC area, but everybody
should take this issue as a serious case to save the VDC in future
by creating awareness campaign as a preventive measure. As the objective
of the ZWN to establish focal point this club has declared the focal
