How Waste produced from
kitchen can be made zero
On 30th July 2000, one-day interaction program has conducted on "how
waste produced from kitchen can be made zero" to practice
zero waste concept. On the program 84 students and teachers of the
computer training program carrying out by Shristi Sewa Samaj Lazimpat
has participated.
The program organized by Shristi Sewa Samaj, 20 individuals from
both organizer and participants has viewed that all waste as it's
degradable and non degradable nature can be separated differently
and dump degradable material along the kitchen yard and non-degradable
materials can be sent to reuse and recycle. During the session all
the participants also have committed to practice in their own house
first, and convey the same message to their neighbors.
Participants have also given massage to the Kathmandu people that
if we were able to practice such noble concept from right now then
ever raising problem as pollution will be reduced. And also the
bother of landfill site searching will be over.
